Madix featured a special Annie’s Homegrown shelving unit at FMI 2010. This shelving unit was built with Madix shelving equipment and CE labs all-in-one media player. The content for the shelving unit was created by CE labs content creation division, The Weird Box. The shelving unit features GPIO push-buttons, which allow the consumer to be in control of the specific products he or she is interested in. This is great for all parties involved by providing the consumer with an entertaining way to learn about particular products. The featured product gets a unique branding opportunity and the retailer has a new way to sell products more effectively. This is not the first dynamic display Madix and CE labs have teamed up to create; and from the success of our other units, we can definitely tell that static displays are soon to be a thing of the past.
